1.  I decided to use Cylindrical Mapping for this character.
 


2.  Move the projector all the way back.



3.  To move UV points, select the UV on the marking menu.



4.  Use the tool above to move and connect the UVs or edges.
 



5.  Use the tool above, to connect UVs or edges.



6. 



7.  Unfold selected UVs is useful tool to unfold over wrapped UVs.




8.  Keep clean as possible so it's easy to paint on Photoshop or other paint program.
Make sure there is no over wrapped UVs.
To export this UV image to Photoshop,
Polygons >  UV Snapshot
